Why Should You Start Using Infrared Sauna?

Let's face it - people are so busy and living a fast-paced life that for some, it is a jungle out there! The daily grind is just too stressful.
The good news is we can still live a happy, healthy, successful and fulfilling life with just a bit of ingenuity and inside information. One of the best-kept secrets for overall health maintenance out there today is the consistent use of an infrared sauna.

An infrared sauna is considered to be a dry sauna which produces heat through electromagnetic radiation heaters, either combination carbon and ceramic, or one of each, that range in temperature from 120 degrees F to 157 degrees F. These saunas heat the air surrounding the person, thus raising the core body temperature resulting in the many health benefits associated with infrared heat. It is a comfortable heat resulting in many health benefits when used consistently.

Infrared therapy is beneficial to both your mind, body, and spirit. There are multiple advantages of a daily session in an infrared sauna. Those using infrared swear they could not live without their daily routine as it helps to maintain overall excellent health, reduces and controls stress and allows for a peaceful nights rest. When you are healthy, not stressed and sleep well you enjoy an agreeable attitude and a great outlook on life.

Some of the many health benefits while using an infrared sauna are specific. For instance not only does infrared sauna therapy relieve pain, on most levels, it aids in overall outward skin health and appearance. The ability of infrared to detoxify the entire body by simulating a ‘false’ fever also assists in a passive exercise which helps in maintaining a healthy body mass. Infrared heat boosts positive feelings, greatly reduces stress and encourages an extremely favorable mental outlook and attitude.

The heat from infrared saunas relieves pain in the body's joints and muscles. Infrared heat expands blood vessels promoting superior circulation. This improved circulation carries supplemental oxygen to over-worked or injured areas and it also reduces pain even as it accelerates healing. Infrared heat causes productive perspiration and is the avenue toxins use for release from your body. Sweat expels dirt, toxins, and chemicals which aid in purifying your pores and removing dead skin cells from your body. Daily use truly results in an improved complexion along with much softer and glowing skin.

Infrared saunas also stimulate the body’s natural mechanism that fights infection and viruses. It does this by raising core body temperature, inducing a ‘false’ fever; an artificial state of fever. When this occurs, it stimulates the infection-fighting benefits of a true fever by heating the body all done without an actual fever or feeling ill. Also due to the increased circulation and oxygenation of healthy blood the body's heart rate increases and the heart is stimulated and metabolism is energized as if you have taken a brisk walk. Add to that, as blood vessels expand and circulation improves, there is the additional benefit of lowering the body’s blood pressure. The body regulates it’s temperature through this process while purging excess toxins found in the fat cells, surplus fat, salt and additional water. This can lead to a reduction in weight over a period of time.

Sweating, while in an infrared sauna, is our body’s prime way of discharging the many toxins bombarding it on a daily basis. What we eat, drink, breathe and absorb is expelled through this intense perspiration. It is one of the natural ways to purge impurities such as heavy metals, toxic food, bad air and other controlled substances such as alcohol, nicotine and even prescription medications. Also, the warm, gentle heat within an infrared sauna gently relaxes muscles, tendons and joints releasing stress from an overworked mind. When stress is lessened overall health greatly improves. Infrared heat is one of the most natural ways to enjoy relief from stress. Sleep tremendously improves and resulting in a better attitude and a more positive outlook on life.

For optimum results, don't forget to combine your time in the sauna with meditation. You can use your own routine or an app such as Headspace. It offers a great ten minute guided meditation. The many benefits of infrared sauna therapy are empirical. From stress relief to detoxification, weight loss, and pain reduction, consistent use of infrared heat pretty much guarantees positive results. Let this be the new secret weapon against stress and illness and find the work and life balance that you deserve.

How to Hire the Right Contractor?

You might find yourself in need of the services of a skilled contractor at some point in the future. A contractor is a person who is in charge of a crew of workers during a construction project. Needless to say, you need to be sure you hire a really good contractor. Otherwise, there is a chance that your construction work will not be done correctly. Therefore, it is important that you take the hiring of your contractor very seriously for the safety of your family. Here are some of the things that should be your primary concerns when you are going to be hiring a contractor.

1. What sort of track record does the contractor have?

You should always investigate the track record of any person you are thinking about hiring to do work at your home. This is especially the case when it comes to contractors. You need to be sure that this person is legit and has not been sued by any of his previous clients. A great place to find out a lot of good info about contractors in your area is the Better Business Bureau (BBB) website. They will give ratings to contractors based on a variety of factors. You should only consider hiring a contractor if he has received a high BBB rating. It is always important to know exactly who you are dealing with where your contractor is concerned.

2. Does the contractor have a valid license?

Why is it important for the garage remodeling contractor you hire to be licensed? You need to be sure that the contractor who is in charge of your construction project has received all of the necessary training that your state requires. There is no way to determine this unless you see a contractor's valid license to work in your state. Many people try to work as a contractor without a valid license. They are able to do this because many people simply assume that the contractor they hire is licensed. However, that is not always the case. Hiring an unlicensed contractor could mean that you will receive construction work that is substandard and dangerous.

3. Are the contractor and all of his workers covered by a current insurance policy?

It is essential that every person who performs construction work on your property have insurance coverage. This is because damage to your home and property can happen during the course of the construction project. The insurance coverage that the contractor has will compensate you for any damage that is sustained to your property. Do not take the contractor's word for it that he is insured. Make sure you ask to see his valid proof of insurance.

Tax and Estate Planning Is Important to Everyone

They say that the only thing that's constant is death and taxes. A few days ago, I was able to read an article about the family who is struggling and fighting over with their inheritance. There was no will left by the husband/ father and the beneficiary written on his assets may have not been updated. In this scenario, it was named after the decedent's sister and not the surviving wife and children. They also have some issues in terms of transferring the properties due to the cost and taxes involved.

We can all say that it is not easy to lose a loved one and problems like these are certainly not welcome. According to experts, these scenarios could have been avoided if proper estate and tax planning was made.

Tax and Estate Planning may not be exciting but it is important and practical. This is not just for wealthy families but also for middle-earners or investors who are very keen in planning their family's future.

Some of the reasons why you should consider estate planning are the following:

1. Protection for your children. Making sure that it goes to the right person or the appropriate trustee is assigned.

2. Avoids family conflicts. Whether we admit it or not, family disputes arise when money is involved. Much more huge amounts from inheritance.

3. Minimize cost and taxes. Tax and Estate Planning helps you minimize cost and taxes when transferring the estate or property.

----------------------------

So, if you want to learn more about Tax and Estate Planning, Gargoles Law Office will be conducting a seminar on August 15, 2017 at the WSI Corporate Center in Makati City.

Key topics would include: Estate Planning Tools, Basic Concepts of Property Regime, Basic concepts of Law on Sales, Computation of Capital Gains Tax and Documentary Stamp Tax, Basic concepts of Law on Donations, Computation of Donor’s Tax, Basic Concepts of Law on Succession, Computation of Estate Tax, Living Trust, Family Holding Corporation, Life Insurance Policy and Final Analysis on Transfer of Property

It is also recommended to CPAs since it comes with CPD Credits. For more details, you may visit their Facebook page or register online via this link: http://bit.ly/TaxandEstatePlanning

Don't miss this GrabCar User Life Hack!

I am such a huge fan/ loyal user of GrabCar. With a lot of promotions, safe and reliable rides, one cannot deny the fact that it is more practical to just use the app than drive your own car (in most cases.)

If you are not familiar or not sure what I am talking about Grab is Southeast Asia's leading ride-hailing platform. It solves critical transportation challenges and makes transport freedom a reality for 620 million people in Southeast Asia. If you are interested, you can download the app for free from Google Play or IOS store. Click here to download the Grab app.

Now, here's the fun part. As I mentioned, grab has a lot of promotions and you can check the notifications tab in the app these promo codes as well as your phone messages since Grab also sends SMS for updates. For new users, you may use this Grab promo code: GRABFREE (not sure if it's still valid but this code gives you a free ride up to Php 300 off)

And that's not all, did you know that you can enjoy cashback on every GrabCar ride booked via the ShopBack Mobile App? Yes, you get a Php 5.00 rebate for every GrabCar booked aside from the promotion or discount code that is applied directly to your GrabCar fare.

    Source: www.shopback.ph

So, just like Grab, Shopback is an app that you can download Google Play or IOS store. and you may download it here.

Now, you must remember that in order to get the rebate, you have to open your Shopback app first, click the RIDE button then, you will be routed to the Grab app. Once the Grab app opens, use as usual. Keep in mind to never open the grab app directly since you won't be eligible for the rebate. You may also read the full terms and conditions here.

As a smarter shopper, let us fast track your rebate points and get a bonus of Php 100 if you sign-up to Shopback via this link. Shopback does not only provide rebates for Grab but also to other sites such as Lazada, Hotels.com, Zalora, Althea and a lot more. Your rebates can be paid via Paypal or Bank Deposit.

How to disable video autoplay in facebook?

With the constant updates and new features introduced in Facebook, most of us are left with no choice but to simply accept the changes.

One change that I really did not like was the autoplay feature of the videos, Since I am a scaredy cat, I could not help panic when horror clips play automatically. I hate it more when the spammy adult content videos circulating the network would also play on its own. I could not imagine when kids borrow phones and can see adult content. It's just too risky and scary for parents.

So, if you are wondering if you can disable the autoplay feature of our facebook video? Well, I am so glad that yes, we can and it actually pretty simple.

    Just follow these steps:
    1. From the top right of Facebook, click and select Settings.
    2. Click Videos in the left menu (normally below the support inbox link)
    3. Check Autoplay Videos settings and select Off.
Is it easy to display the autoplay feature? If yes, please share this post.

Do you have any other facebook related questions, feel free to comment it below and we'll try to feature the answers.
